Tripp McCallie, Vice President of Races, recently shared just a few of his team’s 2024 successes.
Emily Geyer, race director for the Elementary Cross Country Series, orchestrated a record number of kids - 1,000 – participating in this September race series.
Alan Outlaw’s The CAM Run was better than ever: new races for elite elementary, middle and high students – plus world class athletes for the elite 1 miler. And who can forget Memorial Day’s Chattanooga Chase block party! That was Alan’s work as well.
Nicole Buehrle, our new Scenic City Scorcher race director, delivered an amazing post-race pancake breakfast and an array of prizes by age group.
Sujeel Taj, director of the Battle for Chattanooga Race Series, attracted a new race sponsor and over 100 racers for the 3-race-series. He did this while orchestrating the Moccasin Bend Fall Classic as well.
Mike Leary, race director for the Chickamauga Battlefield Races, implemented a new web site and registration system. He also added pre-and post-race activities: ranger lectures, photo booths and more.
Bill Brock, race director for the Fitness Central Turkey Trot, got rave reviews for course modifications: the 8K became a 4 miler, the 3 mile walk became a 1 miler and the Kiddie K started in a new location.
David Lane continued to grow the MAD Backyard Ultra and Locomotion races, adding variety to our race portfolio.
Two races doubled their participants thanks to excellent publicity by race directors.

It’s been a milestone year – especially considering our investment in a new timing system that enables racers to view results moments after crossing the finish line!
It’s time to start thinking about 2025 races! All Q1 2025 races are open for registration except the Raccoon Mountain 10K – which is moving from February to September 2025. We look forward to seeing you in 2025!
