2026 National Cornbread Festival 5K

                Welcome to the 2026 National Cornbread Festival 5K!

The race starts at the Lodge Foundry at 8am CDT and finishes at South Pittsburg Elementary School. Click to see the 5K Course Map.

Race Information:

• All 5K Particiapnts are timed.
• All race times are local to South Pittsburg, TN (Central Daylight Savings Time)
• Custom Technical short sleeve shirts (guaranteed if registered by 4/10)
• World famous Lodge Skillet Awards

Friday, April 25th: 5-7pm :

• Optional pre-race packet pickup will be available at the former Subway next to Foodland (100 N Cedar Ave, South Pittsburg, TN)

Race Day: Saturday April 26, 2026

• 6:30 - 7:30am CDT: Race morning packet pick up will be located at the LODGE FACTORY STORE (from the outside, front-facing of building outside on the right side of the building) on E 3rd Street.

Race registration (online only) will close at 7:15am CDT. Register from the comfort of you home or phone before arriving. No need to stand in line.

                                            Race starts at 8am CDT!

Other Information:

• Those who register AFTER April 10th will not be guaranteed a race shirt. You can check back after the race for any remaining shirt availbility. 
• If you would like to start a team not listed, contact margodowdjd@gmail.com
• Your race bib will get you free entry into the festival (Saturday only).
• Follow arrows and volunteers will be along course routes, indicating turns.
• Drinks, power bars, and bananas will be provided at the finish line.
• There is a virtual 5K option supporting the beneficiaries of the National Cornbread Festival.  Honor system and no shirts/awards.

9:30 am CDT Awards at the Tower Bank Stage: Overall Male/Female; Overall Masters Male/Female; Top 3 Male/Female in each age group:14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
 

Parking: 5K particiapnts get the Best, upfront parking for the Cornbread Festival!

From I-24: Take Exit 152A or 152B, take US Hwy 72 South (Note: at split to Scottsboro, keep left on Hwy 72). At the first red light, take a right. Free parking is located at 308 East 3rd Street, South Pittsburg, TN. This parking lot is located at the corner of Ash Street and 3rd Street.
From Alabama: After crossing the state line, go to the second red light, and take a left. Free parking is located at 308 East 3rd Street, South Pittsburg, TN. This parking lot is located at the corner of Ash Street and 3rd Street.
