Chattanooga Track Club announces Post-Collegiate Development Program

Chattanooga, TN - 24 May 2011 - The Board of Directors for the Chattanooga Track Club recently approved their new Post-Collegiate Development Program.

Under the new program athletes who have expired their athletic eligibility in either cross country or track & field at local universities will be eligible for a one year compensated membership to the Chattanooga Track Club. They will also be eligible to receive a racing jersey with which they may represent the CTC.

The schools included in the Post-Collegiate Development Program include the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Bryan College, Lee University and Covenant College.

“The Chattanooga Track Club is happy to open a new phase of its membership program by offering a one year membership plus a racing kit to track and field athletes from local colleges and universities who have completed their collegiate eligibility,” said Blaine Reese, the CTC’s Vice President of Membership. “This program should encourage athletes who remain in the local area to continue their quest for competitive success.”

The CTC looks forward to being represented at local, regional and national competitions by athletes who have competed for these local academic institutions.

Athletes who believe they are eligible for the program should email and include their name, institution at which they competed, and their last semester of eligibility.
