Eichberg and Gautier Win John Bruner Memorial

Chattanooga, TN – The 35th running of the Missionary Ridge Race took place this morning at Bragg Reservation. The event honors the memory of John Brunner. Over 200 runners participated in this event, with the proceeds benefiting both the local chapter of the American Red Cross and a scholarship to Team Bruner

.


Ken Eichberg won the 4.7-mile run in a time of 25:06. The overall female winner was Jan Gautier with a time of 30:46. The Male Master’s winner was Tim Ensign with a time of 26:24 and the Female Master’s winner was Laura Gearhiser in a time of 35:17. The Male Grand Master’s winner was Bill Warner in a time of 28:26 and the Female Grand Masters’ winner was Sarah Bowen in a time of 38:46

.


Bruce McDuffy, who was the oldest participant in the event, was presented with the Arnold Godwin Award. Arnold, a long time runner in the Chattanooga area, considered Missionary Ridge his favorite race!
