Ensign Wins Wauhatchie Trail Run

Chattanooga, TN – Tim Ensign won the 23rd Annual Wauhatchie Trail Run held at Reflection Riding on Saturday December 15, 2007. Daniel and Joseph Goetz won the family competition.

 

The trail race featured a 6.7 mile course through Reflection Riding, with the start/finish located at the Chattanooga Nature Center.

 

The event included a staggered start, with participants handicapped based on their age and gender. For example, the first group to depart, females aged 70 and over, had a 32:45 head start over males aged 25 to 29, the final group to start.

Ensign, who began the event with a 4 minute head start, covered the course in 39 minutes 26 seconds.
