2019 Riverbend Run

The 2019 Riverbend Run will be held in downtown Chattanooga on Saturday, June 8 with a 10K, 5K and one-mile fun run starting and finishing on Riverfront Parkway right next to Ross’s Landing.

The event, sponsored by the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics, starts with a 10K at 7:30, followed by the 5K at 7:35 and the one mile at 7:45.

Race-day registration begins at 6:30 a.m.

There is also team competition in both the 10K and 5K races. Teams can be made up of three males and two females or all five females.

Ryan McGinnis was the 10K overall winner last year with a time of 37:59 while Lindsay Mies was the women’s winner in 42:53. The 5K winners included Kevin Huwe and his wife Jennifer with times of 17:53 and 20:14, respectively.

Proceeds from this year’s race benefit On My Own 2 Feet and Wheels, which is a running program for beginning runners.
